Protein Dynamics Workshop 2024

The Les Houches – TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshop is held biennually since 2014 in the French Alps and brings together a wide range of researchers working on protein dynamics, using cutting-edge technology, both experimentally and through simulations and theory. The workshop is a forum for presenting, teaching and discussing results from the application of state-of-the-art experimental methods (including, but not limited to, optical spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, XFELs, cryo electron microscopy and atomic-force microscopy and scattering methods), and theoretical and computational approaches to studying protein dynamics.
Within 5 days and in a small group and lively discussions, participants will be exposed to the frontiers in protein dynamics research, allowing everyone to wide their knowledge across fields. About 30 invited speakers give oral presentations that comprise a pedagogic introduction to the methodology employed, followed by applications from their own work. Poster sessions complement the scientific program, which is seconded by exchange outside the lecture hall (in the bar, during hikes,...).

The Workshop is held in the Les Houches Physics school and complements the TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshop at the Telluride Science Research Center in Telluride, Colorado.

Places are limited, in order to keep the spirit of the meeting as a place of open and straightforward exchange in a small setting. Participants are selected from applications, based on scientific background.
